24.10.2011
Future Internet Week being held in Poznan, 24-28.10.2011 will be inaugurated with the conference under the auspices of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council - Future Internet Conference. The event will try to bring the most significant aspects for the development of Future Internet as the new generation ICT for social and economic growth in the context of strategies for the next programming period 2014-2020.
The analysis of "Europe 2020" strategy and its seven flagship initiatives shows that their successful implementation requires an innovative approach, including strong support from Future Internet technologies, which themselves also require a dynamic development. On the other hand, to use public funds in more effective way with smart specialization strategies, regions need to know how to implement regional policy for smart growth in Europe 2020. The future development of innovative ICT anchored in smart specialisation is a keynote of the Future Internet Conference programme.
